Investment Center
The Ústí nad Labem Investment Center was established in 2003 within the Implementation of Systemic Pro-investment Policy of the City of Ústí nad Labem project as a joined activity of the Municipality and several other partners: the Labor Office, the Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Labe Euroregion Regional Development Agency, which is at the same time a branch of the CzechInvest agency.
This project has been implemented with funding support of the Eurpean Union and the Czech Republic from the PHARE 2000 program. The Investment Center has been set up as an independent department of the Ústí nad Labem Municipality. Its primary objective being the coordination of all activities of the Municipality and other entities in supporting industrial and other investment in the city and its surroundings.

The Investment Center offers to investors a wide array of professional services and assistance in designing and implementing investments.
During its short existence, the Investment Center prepared and implemented great many activities, of which the following have been the most important:
· Participating in trade missions to several European cities as well as in both local and foreign trade fares
· Setting up the database of sub-contractors
· Creating a database of investment incentives
· Identifying and gathering detailed site description of lots suitable for investments
· Designing and publishing the brochure Investors’ Guide both electronically and in print
· Actively approaching a number of investors and coordinating their negotiation with municipal representatives
