Left - bank Terrace

 

 

 

 

The Ústí main railway station reconstruction is in process as a result of cooperation of the Czech Railways, the Viamont company and the Statutory City of Ústí nad Labem.

 

The left-bank terrace is a part of the reconstruction. It consists of several floors and its description follows.

 

 

 

The main new structural unit that is a part of the submitted project is the building of the railway station and the linked subway under the tracks towards individual platforms. The submitted design anticipates complete reconstruction of the main building and free axial connection of the outside area with the embankment.

  

The created „route“ should substitute the subway under the tracks leading directly to the bottom of the Benešův Bridge.

 

The Statutory City of Ústí nad Labem offers investment opportunities coming out from new station hall, passage and terrace interconnection.

 

 

 

Overview of structures:

 

  • left-bankterrace (parking area, shops, services, Czech Railways transformer station, left-bank road bridging and portal terations and improvement)
  • alterations of the city centre transportation system (one-way public transport stops at the main railway station, channel for a double-way road under the tracks, bridge head crossroad alterations, busparking on the embankment)
  • bus parking area on the embankment
  • reconstruction of the building of the railway station and the current subway
  • track roofing and platform alterations
